• General structure of Boyce & DiPrima's textbook remains unchanged in the Tenth Ed.
• The most important changes include the following:
• 20 new problems and several new historical footnotes.
• The statement that the real and imaginary parts of a complex solution of a real problem are also solutions is presented as a theorem in Sections 3.2 and 7.4.
• Derivations and proofs in several chapters have been expanded or refreshed.
• Sections 2.1, 3.8, and 7.5 has new examples.
• Section 7.8 goes into more detail of repeated eigenvalues and includes more problems.
• Sections 8.5 "Systems of First Order Equations" and 8.6 "More on Errors; Stability" have been interchanged.
• Chapter 11 is now entitled as "Boundary Value Problems and Sturm-Liouville Theory"
